Eva Longoria Opening School For Disabled Children

Eva’s Heroes, a non-profit organization local rested by the actress Eva Longoria, will open soon to the first program of the after-school of the group for the defied children’s development and the young adults.

More than 40 volunteers from the Valero Energy Corp. Volunteer Council will be on the site at Eva’s Heroes Center on Saturday to help to paint the interior walls, doors, boxes and to provide other contacts of finale for the service.

The center is located at the catholic church of street Matthew and is designed to open by September 2007. This particular center will provide the base of what could be a network of the similar centers in any San Antonio, the state, even the nation.

The “heroes of Eva are an organization which tries to increase the lives of the young adults who are been useful under charity,” directing executive Christiane Perkins-Garcia said, adding that the work carried out by the volunteers of Valero will help to prepare the center during the new school year.
Volunteers of Valero is composed of the employees of the energy of Valero of oil refiner of San Antonio (NYSE: VLO).

Eva Longoria indicates that, “this organization is extremely important for me and close to my heart. I was fortunately to grow with an intellectually handicapped sister, thus I am very impassioned about the occasion to help of young adults with incapacities of development by offering a place so that they enrich their lives. ”
