Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria said she was once "ugly duckling" in her family.The star confirmed that she was still bullied at school in Texas because of her appearance.
Commenting on Richard and Judy, she said: "I was one of the darkest periods of my family. I was the only one with black hair and the only one with dark skin.
"All my sisters were light blonde with hazel eyes. They used to call me "ugly duckling."
However, it believes that Longoria became a better person as a result of the taunts she received as a child, because he has made it clear that she needed more research to achieve great things.
"I grew up without being beautiful so I sort of relied on my personality and my character. I developed a kind of talent not to depend on something superficial because I had nothing to rely on superficial" she added.
